The daily briefing, free
Two briefings a day on what actually moved: one emailed each morning and one more published here, drawn from published papers, patents and funded grants. No card, no trial, unsubscribe in one click.
See what a plan adds
A short film on what KPsphere publishes free, and what a subscription adds on the sectors you choose.
AI-ASSISTED VIDEO: The shots marked CONCEPT VISUALIZATION on screen are AI-generated visuals (Google Veo 3.1 Fast). The screens shown are real recordings, with captions, outlines, highlighting and labels added, and people's names and the text around quoted passages blurred: kpsphere.com pages and free KPsphere reports, a grant record opened from one of them, and a KPsphere test account's subscriber settings page. Any sped-up or shortened moment is marked on screen. Text, stat and price cards are graphics. The narration is the founder's voice, generated with ElevenLabs.
Why pay when so much is free? The free briefing is broad and daily — two briefings a day (one emailed each morning, one more published here), each on one development, rotating through all twelve sectors. A paid subscription is weekly and on the one sector you care about: a deep-research report every Tuesday on a single development, for the subscribers of that sector and not published on the public site. From $100 a month you can also order custom reports on any topic you choose. If the free briefing already covers what you need, stay on it.
Free: broad and daily
Two briefings a day, one of them by email, each on one development, rotating through all twelve sectors.
A plan: weekly, on your sector
A deep-research report every Tuesday on a single development, for the subscribers of that sector and not published on the public site.
What one report actually is
Not a newsletter and not a summary of the news. A briefing document for the subscribers of one sector. Key findings link to their sources.
What one report actually is
Not a newsletter and not a summary of the news. A briefing document for the subscribers of one sector. Key findings link to their sources.
What a report covers: executive summary · technology overview · key research developments · competitive landscape with named players and TRL · patent & IP analysis including freedom-to-operate · funding and investment intelligence · private-sector and startup watch · geographic and geopolitical analysis · regulatory landscape · a rated risk table · strategic recommendations split by role · technology readiness assessment · market outlook · what would change the assessment · what to watch, with windows · the sources it drew on.
Charts are drawn from the sources themselves — publication velocity, patent activity, who funded it and where the largest awards landed. Key findings link to the papers, patent filings, grant awards and other records they come from, drawn from 20+ research databases. The AI is instructed to say where the evidence is thin.

Order a custom report on any topic
Scheduled reports cover your sector. Custom Reports cover whatever else lands on your desk. Type any question into your dashboard: a technology, a company, or a claim you have been asked to verify, in your sectors or not. It is researched across papers, patent filings and grant awards, plus a web search for funding rounds and deals, and emailed to you as a researched report: a PDF, normally with an evidence workbook of the records gathered for it.
An office analyst
Check a vendor’s claim against the published record, or brief leadership on a technology that has come up, with key findings linked to their sources for anyone who asks.
A journalist or newsroom
Background research for a story: who is working on it, who funds it and what the papers and patents show. You may quote and publish the findings, with credit to KPsphere.
A content creator
The research behind a video or a podcast episode, with the records to check it against. You may publish what you use from it, with credit to KPsphere.
“Solid-state sodium batteries for grid storage — who is closest to manufacturing scale, and what is actually blocking it?” · “Is this vendor’s claimed error rate credible against published results?” · “Who is funding fusion materials work in Japan?”
2 a month on Sector Watch + Custom Reports · 5 on Multi-Sector · 10 on Full Spectrum
You may quote, summarise and publish findings from a custom report you ordered, with credit to KPsphere (for example, “Research: KPsphere”). The report file itself is not for resale or for republishing as a product. The research is AI-assisted and is information, not advice. Terms, section 4.

Every plan renews automatically each month at the price shown, plus any sales tax, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the settings link in any KPsphere report email, or get that link by email; cancelling stops future charges and you keep access until the end of the month you have paid for. By subscribing you agree to the Terms and the Privacy Policy.
Need more than six sectors?
Or a specific standing brief, a different cadence, or access for a team? That is a bespoke engagement rather than a bigger plan, and it is priced on what it actually involves. Email info@kpsphere.com and tell us what you need covered.
For offices and teams
- Use inside your organisation. The Terms allow subscriber reports to be used inside your organisation, and sharing a report with a colleague who needs it is fine.
- Several analysts. Each analyst can subscribe with their own work email, all paid on one company card. Each one is a separate subscription with its own sectors and custom reports.
- Government staff. You can pay with a government purchase card, as with any other card.
- Procurement paperwork. If your office needs a quote, a W-9 or a vendor form first, request it below.
- Larger needs. For more than six sectors or something shaped differently, email info@kpsphere.com about a custom engagement.
Buying for an organization?

How it works. After payment you get an email with a link to choose your sectors. Your first report or briefing is prepared after you choose your sectors.
What you actually receive. Research reports arrive as a PDF you can file, annotate and forward internally, with the summary in the email itself and key findings linked to their sources.
Changing plans. To change plans, write to info@kpsphere.com. Do not buy a second plan, or you will be charged for both.
