What Sector Watch + Custom Reports adds
The $100 plan adds two things to Sector Watch: custom reports on questions you choose, and one company or lab tracked by name. Below is a sample of each, made for this page with the same research and writing steps a subscriber’s go through. Neither was sent to anyone.
A custom report
A subscriber types a question into their dashboard and gets a researched report back. This is the question asked for the sample.
Which PFAS destruction technologies have published results beyond the laboratory, and how close is each to routine use?
The question is turned into search terms, researched across papers, patent filings and grant awards, plus a web search for funding rounds and deals, and written up as a report. Key claims go through an automated check before the report is finished. It is delivered as a PDF, normally with an evidence workbook: an Excel file of the records gathered for it, each row linked to the original.
A subscriber receives it by email with their question at the top. This sample is the same kind of document, with “Sample Edition” on its cover in place of a name. The date it was made is on the cover.

Custom reports are included from Sector Watch + Custom Reports: 2 a month on that plan, 5 on Multi-Sector and 10 on Full Spectrum. You may quote and publish findings from a custom report you ordered, with credit to KPsphere (Terms, section 4).
A company or lab tracked by name
On Sector Watch + Custom Reports you name one company or lab: three on Multi-Sector, six on Full Spectrum.
Every Thursday it is searched for in new papers, patent filings and grant awards, plus company news, across every sector. You get one email: what turned up, with a short PDF report attached, or a note that the week was quiet, so you always know the check ran.
For this sample we tracked a U.S. Department of Energy national laboratory, chosen because its work is public record. It is not a KPsphere customer, and the sample is not an endorsement. The email is printed to PDF as it would arrive, with a SAMPLE band across the top.
AI-assisted, with the records linked
Both samples were made for this page, not chosen from what subscribers received.
The records are gathered by automated searches of public research, patent and funding databases, plus a web search for company news, funding rounds and deals. The report and the email’s findings are drafted by AI models (currently Anthropic’s Claude) and are not edited by a person. Key findings link to the papers, patent filings, grant awards and other records they come from; check them before relying on or repeating any figure. The methodology page describes the searches and the checks, including what they do not catch.
Research and analysis only, not investment, legal or procurement advice.
Plans and prices are on the plans page, with a free sample of a weekly sector report.
